Trainer Seminars  "Tools for the Trainer"
Safe-at-the-Plate® offers a variety of options for the corporate client who wishes to do their own in-house training.  Tools for the trainer seminars are available and include such topics as:

bulletBasics of setting up a class
bulletStructuring the class in teachable segments
bulletEvaluation of learning at the end of each segment
bulletTiming of class presentation
bulletEffective teaching methods
bulletTechniques for fielding questions
bulletHandling difficult situations

Class size is limited to six participants to allow for individualization of learning and ample participation. Unlike seminars with large numbers of students, "Tools for the Trainer" equips the participant individually to anticipate their first presentation with confidence.

Following the Training session, it is extremely valuable to have a representative of Safe-at-the-Plate® observe a trainer on their first presentation. As a team member, the representative is able to provide invaluable feedback, make suggestions, and offer assistance, if need be, during this challenging day. Feedback is provided in written form for future reference. This aids tremendously in building the confidence of the trainer.

Safe-at-the-Plate® is available to continue to act as a facilitator by ordering exams for corporations at a discount and to function as a food safety resource. Please see test order center.

Corporations may wish to purchase the Safe-at-the-Plate® teaching materials for the use of their trainers. These include overheads, handouts, games, and teaching experiences.

Please contact us if you are interested in the "Tools for the Trainer".
